Course Overview
During the BOnST programme delegates will gain a basic level of understanding and an awareness of safety and emergency response on onshore installations.
Who should attend
This programme is designed to assist in meeting the initial onshore safety and emergency response training and assessment requirements for personnel new to the onshore oil and gas industry in Thailand.
Physical and Stressful Demands
Training and/or assessment activities contained within this Standard may include physically demanding and potentially stressful elements. All personnel who participate in such activities must be physically and mentally capable of participating fully.
Prerequisites
Valid in-date medical or fitness to work certificate (Valid within 12 months)
Course Outline
- Safety Induction of onshore hazards, controls and consequences.
- Basic First Aid and immediate first aid actions including CPR and use of AED (automated external defibrillator)
- Firefighting and Self Rescue which complies with Department of Labour Protection and Welfare regulations
Certification
TPTI certificate. Validity 3 years.
