Course Outline
From the course, participants will have knowledge of:
- Chemical material safety data sheets (MSDS)
- Hazards of flammable substances (Liquids)
- Hazards of combustible substances
- Hazards of corrosive substances
- Hazards of flammable gases
- Hazards of explosives
- Hazards of reactive substances
- Hazards of toxic and harmful substances
And be able to:
- Be conversant with explosive limits
- Be conversant with toxicity limited
- Store chemicals/handle chemicals correctly
- Understand chemical effects on humans and the environment
